Julie Henry is a Multi Media Artist who is drawn to anything and everything that strikes a sweet balance between the modern and the primitive.
“I am participating in the Artist Wilderness Connection program because the idea of studying a specific place in the woods is intriguing. Nature is in a constant state of change so the possibilities for inspiration are endless. I love to sit outside, listen to the birds sing, and draw or paint.”
Julie Nellenback Henry was born in Seneca Falls, New York in 1968. Her family moved to the South when she was young. Julie works predominately in the medium of painting but printmaking and assemblage sculpture are also important pursuits.
