Myles Brown is an Atlanta guitarist and composer working in the worlds of jazz, classical, rock, and funk.
“I’m interested in WAPS because the idea of composing for a particular environmental theme sounds like a fun challenge. I am also excited for the opportunity to work with the talented performers of Chamber Cartel and other Atlanta composers and artists.”
As a graduate of The Berklee College of Music, Georgia State University, and the Atlanta Institute of Music Myles Brown has developed into one of Atlanta’s top guitarists and composers of modern jazz, instrumental rock, and classical chamber music.
Over the last 10 years Brown has spent his time touring the Southeast with his fusion band The Soundmen, gigging as a jazz and classical guitarist, and writing music for classical ensembles. Recent work includes a symphonic indie film score, 2 albums of original music currently distributed by Abstract Logix and iTunes, and a booking contract with Eastcoast Entertainment.
Mr. Brown has performed at such esteemed venues as Turner Field, The Tabernacle, The Ga Theater, New Earth Music Hall, The Dogwood Festival, Cherry Blossom Festival and Music Midtown.
